Post Passenger Side carpet bump

Is there ANY way to get rid of that BUMP on the passenger side carpet? It bothers me if I'm sitting on the passenger side and others too. I was rolling with some HOT chicks(they were both sitting on the passenger side lol) and they said it was uncomfortable. lol.

If u want it done right..you need to cut and weld----bfh will just distort it..will be better, but not fixed properly.

Actually it is before that. The 3rd gens had the same chassis from the firewall back. In 1982 the single pellet style cat was placed there. GM was to lazy to revise the structure to eliminate it.

Me thinks this is the problem, NOT the hump itself.

It is uncomfortable over there, cause the driver is freaking flying. LOL No I think the seat being to low and lack of adjustment is the issue, the hump doesn't help.
