Default LS1 appearance questions...

I'm checking out a couple different billet grills on eBay. Are more people getting the grill with the less bars (more spacing between each one) or the one with more bars (less spacing)? Also, how are people installing the retro emblems on their grills? 3M glue or something else...?

I'm also checking out a set of halo headlights on eBay. I am, however, a little confused on the color of the actual halo on most of them. Are the halo's offered on eBay all the same color halo or are there different colors? Also, what's the major differences between one set and the next (the descriptions aren't too detailed)?

Thanks!

Search will net a lot of posts about grilles.

The Stull grilles are most common because you know what you are buying, and they are definitely very nice. I know there are nice grilles to be had on eBay but since there are so many types, it's hard to know unless someone can verify exactly which one they have for you.

Stulls require removing factory grill, then screwing four screws right through the fascia.

Some ebays zip tie right on top of stock (not the greatest imho).

Some ebays mount like Stulls or with zipties after removing stock grille.

Emblems are put on either through fabbing up a sheet metal bracket to use, zip ties, or jb weld. I used a combination of metal zip ties and jb weld.

Also to my knowledge all halos, ebay or no ebay, they are the same, with both black and chrome bezels available, and light blue leds. Blacks bezel ones are a little newer and tend to cost just a tad more, and there is one site that will retrofit colored leds for a nice chunk of change.

When it comes to the SS grille, less is more in this case.

I like my grille, I want a black one though, and I cant friggin find one for a decent price. Ebay only sells polished ones for whatever reason, and afterthoughts wants my arm and leg for it.
