i was under the car the other day and i was wondering, does the plastic scrape cover/bumper that hangs below the car create drag? Does it come off easily? It sits right underneath my bumper about 10" from the front of the nose. Just wonderin if it does, i dont like the idea of having a piece of plastic that acts as a shield against oncoming air.

um.......that not a scrape cover, it directs air to your radiator and stuff, so if you want your car to overheat, go ahead and do it!

I think something with that small of an affect would only hurt you at 140-160+mph. I may be wrong, but I doubt you will see any benefit from removing it.

I think it would also keep air from getting under the car and causing the "lift-off" effect at higher speeds as well...

Regardless, YES YOU WILL DEFINETLY OVERHEAT THE CAR IF YOU REMOVE IT
