Rain/Sap marks on black paint
Hey everyone,
I am new and i have a really odd question, or atleast to me it is. I recently bought an 01 SS a4 with 15k on the clock and i love it to death......i had a monte ss before, and let me tell you, there is a major differance,lol.....but anyway, back to my question, i have read all the "water mark" problem searches and none really helped me.....the dealer told me the car sat in the lot for 2.5 weeks. The rain spots are there if u get right up on it, but from a few feet away, they appear to be gone and as shiny as no ones business. I've waxed 4 times, washed 3, and no luck. Really odd. The dealer where i bought it had lots of trees near it, sap maybe? any help on how to get these spots out would be greatly appreciated,
thanks in advance,
kevin

if it is tree sap use rubbing alcohol then re wax. if it is water marks that sat for a long time you may need to use a mild compound to get them out then polish then wax. hope this helps.
