Exclamation White face gauges help needed quickly!!!

Okay... I got a set of MacEwen white face gauges which I installed today.

The instructions did say you don't have to remove the needles, but after trying to slide the speedometer/tach piece in place, I decided that with my big fat fingers it wil be a lot easier if I'll just take the needles out.

I did mark the positions of the temp/oil/voltage/gas on a piece of paper when the engine was cold and the ignition off only. Yeah, probably I should've taken pics and with the egine running etc., but since I didn't, now I need some help... Hopefully somebody can help.

After I put everything back together, the tach is about 1500-2000rpm too high, gas is a quarter tank off. Oil pressure is slightly too high, as well as the battery gauge.

So..., is there a way I can line them up properly anymore? I did remove the needles on my 95 TA by using the same technique and I got those to line up really well afterwards, but now it looks like I'm screwed...

Or am I? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!
