Not saying you're wrong meissenation, but I thought on the bottle it says something like "Will not build up after repeat use" which I took as its not going to layer. Unless Im just remembering what a diff bottle says.

Hmm, let me go grab my bottle that I have and see if it does say that. Someone mentioned once that they thought it had abrasives in it, I had emailed Meguiar's and they said there were no abrasives in Gold Class, I assumed the no abrasives meant it could layer atleast thrice or 4 times. brb I'll check the bottle though, don't remember seeing that.
Edit: Hmm, guess it might've been confused with something else? I have the box and bottle and neither say anything about it not building up or layering. The back says that it will "remote light swirl marks" but yet when I emailed Meguiar's and asked them, they said there's no abrasives in the Gold Class. Not sure which is true, whether I was just getting fed some propoganda so I'd use it, or whether the box just says it for marketing. No worries though with questioning it, I'd rather not spit out false information if the box did infact say that.
In the end, I'd think if someone wants to layer you'd go with Zaino, Klasse, or something of that sort rather than Meguiar's, but I do know from experience that multiple uses of Meguiars will create very slick surface. Whether that's it layering, or just the wax being applied to a VERY clean surface due to the previous layers of wax, not sure. I applied the multiple "layers" just because last summer I was waxing my car 3 times a week due to all the cruise-ins I went to.. would get there early and wax the car.
