Default oxidation?

any way to clean off oxidized headlights, or just stop being conservative and buy another set?

Try the new Mother's Polish Mini Power Ball - same as big version only smaller (3" dia.) and with an extension wand. They even list it to be used to polish plastic headlights - they also have a special compound for this.

Think I first saw it advertised in one of the latest car mags...

Plastic polish, paint polish, or metal polish are all possible solutions.
