Might be overkill, but it works for me. I tried Zanio and I am not happy with thier products.
- What are you not happy with? shine ? Depth? still have swirls ?
- What color is your car?
What I usually do for a first time on the average car:
Wash with Gold Class Car Shampoo
clay
Quik Detailer if necessary to clean up after clay
ScratchX on any bad areas, door dings, etc
#83 on bad swirl areas with a PC and a Meg's 8006 foam pad on speed 4.5 - 5
#80 on the entire car with the PC and a Meg's 8009 foam pad on speed 4.5 - 5
two applications of #21 on the entire car using the PC for application only, using a Meg's 9006 pad on speed of 3 - 3.5, the let cure, and remove with a MF towel.
NXT Paste applied with PC and a 9006 pad at a 3. removed with an oribital buffer and several MF pads
#34
if the paint is in good to great shape due to regular maintenance, then I will skip the #83 and just use the #80 or #82 then go on to the #21
if you are not going to use a PC, and plan on doing it all by hand, then adjust your products approriately.
can you post before / after pics .. might help some of us guide you a bit better.
