This look good to get started detailing
This look good to get started detailing I just bought a Porter-Cable 7424. Thinking about buying this stuff:
Menzerna Intensive Polish
Menzerna Final Polish II
Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze
Menzerna FMJ
Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield (Spray Sealant)
Yellow Pad
White Pad
Black Pad
Red Pad
5" Backing Plate
Then I will buy locally:
clay bar
micro fiber cloths
good car soap
Seem like the right ammount of stuff to get started. I have never done any detailing but want to get my black ws6 looking nice again. It has some pretty bad swirl marks and this should take care of it.
Should I stick with the Menzerna, or is it too expensive for a noob like me? Do you guys think this will be a bit overwelming?? or am i going overboard? ANY opinions are welcome!

The yellows a bit more abrasive then the orange, I believe (I might have it backwards).
Never used Mezerna, but its a quality product and shouldnt be over the head even as a noob.
You'll LOVE the 7424 tho. You'll wonder why you waited so long to pick it up after a couple passes with it.
Overall, nice pickup. And of course, post before & afters!
