Default painted side skirts?

I have a red 1998 T/A and i was thinking about doing the CETA mod on the rear of the car in gloss black, and also i was thinking about painting the side skirts of the car in gloss black also, just do kind of set the bottom of the car off... what do you guys think? would it look good... or shitty? i searched for some pictures, but didnt find any... does anyone know of someone who has done it? thanks!

Sounds interesting but the thing is the front would look out of place...maybe if some nice paint scheme can be pulled out in the lower front bumper area then it will look balanced...my $0.02!

Hopefully someone has done it and will share a pic...

I see what you are saying, but here is the thing. Doing the lower bumper in black sort of "hides" it. That is the idea. If you "hid" your side skirts it would look like ***, and the car would look skinny under the doors. It would give the illusion of having a longer front and rear fascia than in the middle if you know what I mean.

i say try it, the 90's firebirds had a 2 tone usually blue w/ silver or red w/silver scheme going on and i thought it looked sweet, would probably look good on a T/A
