I would consider him to have a shitload of experience. He works with really high end cars, but that doesnt mean that he is the world best detailer. Visit Autopia.org and find some guys that know how to turn a car that is worth 500$ into a car that could sell for 5000.00 because of their ability to bring the shine and luster back to the paint.

That guy must not do anything else with his hands... I know, even with my little bit of labor that I do, I have calases and **** that would scratch the hell out of my car..

He is if your paint is flawless. There is a reason he gets lots of business. How many chances do you think you get to give a good detail to one of those cars? I bet one bad reference would haunt you for a while.

Looks like the guy does a great job and charges out the wazoo for it. Wouldn't you trust him with your paint with a resume like that?

It's as much about trust as it is about the detail.

If you had a car worth that much money would you just trust the local detailer who drives up in his beat-up work truck to detail it??? (Be honest)

These guys have sooooo much money....it's a Status Symbol to have the car....they're not interested (or don't have) the time to spend hours on end caring for it like we do with our cars.

Personally.....spending those many hours is soothing to me....and that in and of itself is a reason I enjoy my car so much.

I don't think there is an ultimate detailer, like there is no ultimate way of detailing a car. I think there is a lot of people out there with a lot of talent and thier own way of doing things that works for them.

one i would never spend that kinda of money on a detail and two...i think i do a damn good job myself...and three...if i had a nice *** car like that'd i think i would take the pride and do that **** myself!

but i don't doubt that he's damn good...but i don't agree with the whole "hand wax" ****...i bet that doesn't do the car that much good...

I agree, there's oils on your hands no matter how good you clean them.

I would assume that the oil in your hands mixes with the wax in some way, to make the oil in your hand harmless to the paint. Either ways, the hand wax method must be working if he keeps getting busines...
