Tint well im getting my windows tinted for my birthday and im wondering what percent should i go with?? i want it dark but dont want to get pulled over all the time b/c of it, i was thinking 15 on the sides and 5 on the back. anyone have this setup show me some pics please.
That'll probably get you pulled over, legal limit is 35% side 18% rear.
It's up to you but I'd do the legal limit, and not have to worry about tickets and/or having to get the tint removed

yeah but around here we dont really have ******** cops, i mean ive never had any problems with my car being to loud or anything like that and i live next to two cops. plus i dont want to get my windows tinted and look like it does now but just alittle darker, i want it to where you can barely see in the car, kinda like the T-tops tint is.

I had 5% all the way around. Looked nice as hell....but driving at night was a little problem. Like when i had to back up i had to roll down my windows because i wasnt sure what was behind me. I also go a ticket and had to remove it on the sides.........but im an idiot and will be getting 5% put back on. Looks awsome on a nice clean car.

i know in VA, the legal limit is 50% on the driver/pass. sides, and pretty much paint ur back window midnight black - if u want to, as long as u have both side mirrors. i believe the cops are supposed to give u some 7% leeway, so if the limit is 50, u can go down to 43 w/o gettn a ticket. personally, i dont see much of a difference between 35% and 50%, so i dont think it'd be a problem. besides, if u black out ur back window, it'll help make ur front 2 look darker.
on that note, wuts the average price of a tint job? this guy's chargin me $170, but i talked to a few people in my shop that i work with an they say thats real expensive. the dude does the back window in one piece, and he's supposedly really good, but i just wanna know if thats too expensive? sorry to hijack this thread
