Default Engine gone

Well My engine's out of the car at the moment. What should I do to take advantage of how easy it is to clean. For instance, what cleaning product whould I use? Thinkin about just takin a power washer to the whole bay. Also what should I use to clean the actual engine?

I'd power wash it using Simple Green or Gunk as a degreaser.

After everything dies, I'd get in there with a rag and a can of WD-40.

shoot it with water, soak it with "oil eater" or "purple power" let it sit 5 minutes, use a bristle brush, than power wash it. itll look new

Simple Green is a definate. There is also a sticky I think on the section main page about cleaning the engine.
