i can see puttin the SS hood on a T/A to be something never to be done, but that hood on a camaro looks reasonable. I still gotta decide and take a good look at my car and see. cowls are nice, i had one on my third gen drag (6 inch) I was loooking for something different. thanks for the input tho it helped. z28 hottie "take changes" you god damn right!

Please no one tell him where to get it, seriously man, it's not that different if every Firebird is running around with one, and every ricer with a Camaro has one, it looks like crap on a Camaro, please don't let people make fun of you. It just looks silly.

it's ok. it would look better with a xenon body kit. but i think this one looks pretty cool.

ive had this hood now for probally 3 years now. with a body kit and i slightly taller spoiler it looks really good to me. without a kit or stock rear it looks really out of place. call it what you want. i really dont care. if you like it get it. i believe thats why the trans-am has a taller spoiler than the rest of the birds, to balance out with the hood. i feel cowl hoods are fargen uugly but to each there own. good luck with what you do. i got my hood from a place in tenessee. remember though 5bills for the hood,150 for the shipping and 400-500 for the paint. less if you know people. good luck

Suncoast creations has a larger SS style hood and VFN fiberglass has a 3in SS hood. Sorry, I don't have any pics of them though.

Now that would be much sweeter, if there was 1 or 2 people that were telling you it looked like crap, it would be opinion, if it's nearly everyone that posted, it's a general consensus. VFN's hoods are nice as are Suncoast.

Please set your car on fire before you put that hood on it...

If you want a functional hood get the Ultra-Z:

If you want a hood LIKE the SS hood, but NOT the SS hood (since they are a dime a dozen) get either the " 3" SS " hood:

or the ZL1 style hood:

I am going to repost this for you from another thread I just typed this in:

If you want a functional hood get the Ultra-Z:

If you want a hood LIKE the SS hood, but NOT the SS hood (since they are a dime a dozen) get either the ZL1 style hood:

or the " 3" SS " hood:

For cowl's there's many options...

There's the most subtle Harwood:

Of course the infamous Sunoco:

(with center line)

(without center line)

and finally the traditional cowl (very bad ***):

The coolest part is EVERY hood I just listed looks VERY bad *** and is VERY rare to see in your average town cruising around...

Pick your hood based on your car's theme though. Examples:

Nice daily driver with some mods, I say Ultra-Z

SS on steroids, I say ZL1

SS on steroids ROID RAGING, I say 3" SS

Daily Driver with the occasional *** kicking, I say Harwood

Daily driver/nightly *** whooper, I say Sunoco

All out street brawler, I say traditional cowl

So pick your poison...
