Fuel rail cover mounting
Fuel rail cover mounting Searched all over the place.
I've got a set of early (pre-99) corvette FRCs that I'm trying to mount on my '02 camaro LS1. The clips on the outer sides of the FRCs seem to be trying to attach to right in the middle of the plug wire leaving the coil pack.
Will the pre-99 FRCs work? What am I doing wrong?

Keep in mind that those FRC have to be notched out and ifyou have an auto tranny, they will need to be notched out for that. If they are, it will take a bit of work getting them on, but they should just clip into place once you get them set where they need to go.
I am also having problems mounting the frc's. The driver side front will "click" on. The rear just kinda pushes on. The bottoms are uneven. If I try to press the bottoms down, it pops the back end up and the frc slides down. What is getting in the way? I already removed the bracket that holds the cruise wires together. And I have also loosend the ignition coil conector. Do I need to move it farther down?
As for the passenger side, is the frc supposed to go over the egr system and under the pcm wires? Or is it supposed to go under the egr hose? If I unhook the egr hose and reconnect it, would that have any adverse affect?
