Removing 3yr old vinyl??
Removing 3yr old vinyl?? I've had stripes on my car for the past 3-4 yrs and the hood pieces are begining to come off at the edges. I was thinking about removing them and not replacing them. How hard is it going to be to remove them and is there go be a difference in the paint after I remove them, and is there a risk of the paint or clear coat coming off if I do remove them?

A hair dryer is your best friend. Heat and slowly remove. Shouldnt be a problem at all, but of course there are factors playing into paint fade, and clearcoat coming off..like has it been repainted, does it sit in the sun alot etc..
