Default Painting calipers ?'s

Ok, so I have decided to get my stock 99' WS6 wheels powdercoated black to look like the CETA wheels, but with new WS6 centercaps. I'm thinking about painting the calipers red. I'm open to suggestions if you think a different color would look better. My car is NBM.

My main question is what type/brand of clear coat are people using when appling the "Trans Am" lettering kits for the calipers?? If the paint needs to be special high temp brake paint, what clear coat is able to hold up to the same temperatures??

Most people are just using the vinal stickers that can be bought from afterthoughts auto. Mine have been on for several years and still look good.

I know that already, I'm gettin mine from Fourth Circle in chrome. I was just wondering about the clearcoat to keep them from peeling. I got my anwsers on our local board.

I never put clear coat on them and have "formula" vinyl on the calipers. They still look good and their not peeling.

I'm planning on painting mine SOM to match my car with some decals front brent. I found some high temp clear spray paint (it's dupli-color brand) that I plan on toping everything off with.
