Inexpensive Stuff
Well, my license is susp for awhile due to my lead foot. Already planning on wetsanding the car and buffing. Don't have alot of money... any idears on what I can get done while the car sits?
So far I have shampood the carpets, cleaned the leather, pulled the vents out and cleaned all the duct work (man it was nasty in there)... Anything else? I'm bored and want to feel like I'm at least accomplishing SOMETHING while she sits..
Oh, also took a dome light from a ...ehrr...I think it was a Grand Am.. painted it to match my interior and installed between the T-Tops ;-)

I'd clean the engine bay. Yeah I know how much it sucks to not have a license. I went 1 year without mine. But I paid my debt to society (DUI related). I wasn't even legally drunk but I was under the age. I regret it a lot.

id say clean engine bay, paint calipers (if not done) while cleaning the rotors, shine up them shocks, def. clean up the wheel wells. Take out seats, console, ect... you'll be amazed at how much **** can find its way under all there even tho you may think its nice and clean.
Getting your license suspended def. sucks. Mine was for about 2 months, I still drove tho. My schedule was way to busy with college and 2 jobs to have to worry about someone driving me around all the time.

instead of painting the calipers, take out your dremel, and polish those *******. you could do the alternator too. there's an article around here about polishing metal. i found it on TGO. i 'll see if i can find it later. the Marine Corps blocked TGO for some weird reason...
