I was contemplating a shift boot from them for my car. I decided to wait until I get the houndstooth inserts put in before I do the black with white piping shift boot. Looks good. I wanna see what it'll look like installed.

I found those over on CZ28. This is the Link inside. $60 a set isn't bad.

Oh really? then do you wanna pay for the site?

If i was a sponsor I wouldnt want non-sponsor advertising all over, and if the mods didnt contain it id pull my sponsorship

No No No
Your misinterpretting me. I feel the same way, but a while back there was a guy that sold rears on ebay and they banned him. I remeber one of his first posts even being I dont want to talk about my products because I dont want to get in trouble with the mods. I said SOMETIMES they go overboard. Almost always I have no beef with them and I believe they do a great job keeping one of my favorite sites up and running.

Bottom line: The sponsors pay a fee to have their products advertised on this site. If other suppliers have their products linked, then they get their advertising for free...it's not fair to companies that pay. This is THE premier site on the 'net for the LSx crowd, so any "free" advertising gets plenty of traffic.

As for "going overboard"...well, selective editing is not a fair practice (i.e. editing some and not others), so my basic approach to moderating this section is this: if it's not a site sponsor, it gets an edit...and the admins seem to like it that way.

So that's why my posts mysteriously disappear if I mention a product that's not from a sponsor. How the hell are we supposed to share information if we can't even talk about what's out there? Is this Red China suddenly?!?!

Well...if you take the time to actually look through the posts that I have edited, you'll notice that I use a "soft-edit" technique where I leave more than enough information for any competent internet user to extrapolate the link. If you read through the forum rules, you'll find that mentioning a non-sponsor product or site is not prohibited, the act of creating a direct link is the problem. I just don't understand why some folks have a problem with this rule...<shrugs shoulders>

THe only reason I think it's gay because my PM box fills up every other day about my damn foglights lol I'm gonna try to convince the company I bought them from to be a sponsor on here, because they would bank.

And no pics installed, my whole interior is out, I'm waiting on a shift boot clip/plastic ring too before I can install it!

Here are some pics from the other forum that I found
