Give my engine a bit of paint? Okay so I decided to make my engine look a little better. So I made a decision to buy some Sunset Orange Metallic auto paint. I have some clear coat also to give it a better shine. Im trying think of some things to paint. I know im going to paint the intake, lid, lower air box piece, also im going to make a coil relocation kit so im going to paint my coil packs also. I have alot of painting, prepping, etc. experience. But need some opinions and ideas guys even some pictures. Also would it be okay to paint the valve covers for my 5.3 heads and use clear coat id say not because it would burn off but just curious if anyones tried.
Will that automotive paint hold up to some of the high temperatures?

I think so I think thats what he used on his parts. That thread is actually what made me decide to do it. Im also going to be attending quite a few car shows with my dads show truck this year so a good clean engine is a must.
