Wetsanding, how do you do it?

I have a bunch of swirl marks on my and they show up easy in the sun since my car is black. I dont have the money to spend on a pc right now so could a local body shop wetsand or polish these out real easy. Also how much would it cost to get this done.
Well. . .I agree with ALOT of what the prior comments made said. . .
BUT. . . sand the nose yourself. . .when they say keep it wet, DRIPPING. . .and when you spray or get the nose wet, keep getting the sand paper wet also. . .it'll prevent build up of the clearcoat or paint. NOW, why do I say sand it yourself? Because you dont charge yourself. By this I mean, IF you screw it up, then you can have a pro fix it. If you get it done yourself, you've learned AND saved money. So I like the block idea or the sponge inside the sandpaper idea. . .as someone said, prevents differing pressure points and all. . .

A hell of a lot more than the cost of the Porter Cable. Buy the PC, it's an investment in your car, not and expense.
