Cool How to get rid of Tree sap on windshield ?

Ok, I haa tried a clay bar before and it took them off preatty good. I did have some left but nothing too bad. Now, I havent driven my car for a while and yesterday I washed and I tried taking them off since I have ALOT now but it didnt work at all.

What other things can I try ? They are freakin annoying, I want a clear glass

Thanks

use the chrome polish that comes in a tin can...its like a cotton or wool lookin material...you can get it a wal-mart! i beleive its called "eagle one never dull" works great on chrome and even batter on your windshield it even gets those damn annoying hard *** water spots in the corners that seem to never go away...its what i use at shows...makes your glass look new...i wouldnt do it on the tint side tho! get it, it works

hmmm....i dont know....it might, but it might not...iv never used it but you can try it i guess! does it have those tiny abbrasion specs in it?? like tiny tiny pebbles (dont know how else to explain it lol) cuz they might scratch the glass...do it on a small portion first...just to make sure...but dont blame me if it doesnt work lol and if it does then share it with the rest of us if it doesnt work i suggest getting the stuff i suggested...it works great and doesnt scratch the glass

You could always try GOO-Gone or just plain old rubbing alcohol- That always worked for me, I used to detail for time for a guy who owned his own shop- ferraris, porsches, vettes- you name it- I cleaned it. Heck, rubbing alcohol will take off the glue on the back of registrations, stickers, takes off chewing gum, and just about anything else sticky that you could possibly imagine. When your done, just take some glass cleaner and just clean your windshield how you normally would to get rid of any streaks or excess. Good Luck

if its just glass then a razor blade wont hurt...if its on paint, i had a quarter size drop of tree sap that was a pita to get off but a can of handy bug and tar remover from orielly's fixed that.

For glass - Rubbing alchohol and a razor blade.
Paint - Rubbing alchohol, a rag, and alot of muscle. Then wax the spot after.

WD40. Let it soak then wipe off. Works on tree sap, tar, and just about anything. It even took clothes-dryer melted crayon out of my wife's work clothes (she works with disabled kids in schools).
