That's the attitude we like around here!

Your car has a very clean and sleek look going for it. Taking them off will add to that and really make it look sharp.

I love how it looks with them off but my work parking lot is forever crowded so I decided to leave mine on to help protect my doors. I really wanted to take them off while they were repainting the car but I guess sometimes you have to make sacrifices.

^^That's the road I decided to go. I know sooner or later I'll be painting the car, at that time the moldings are gone.

Now I can't remove them because the paint shop painted them to the car. It's ok though because side moldings look better than lots of door dings.

Are you saying they painted over the molding???

Oh.... I would have had a duck-fit.... staying on or comming off.

On a re-paint... they should have removed them before painting anyway. If you want to keep them after the repaint... you put new molding on.

Do they just peel right off (with that 3M stuff) or do they pull some paint? I'll join the bandwagon, but I'm not spend any money!

I would have kicked that painter's *** for painting over top of molding. I hope the paint looks better than what it sounds like.

Wowsa, what a lazy painter. It would only take him what? 15 min. out of his time to take those moldings. Took mine off and the Z looks dead Sechsy!

paint looks gorgeous. he said once they're off, they're tricky to get back on. I told him to leave them because of the possible door-ding issue.

I took mine off or at least on one side cause it takes a while to pull that glue off. I definiltey think it looks better without it.

You know. I park next to cars and SUVs, and those side moldings do NOTHNG! They are either too high or too low, so either way w/ them or w/o them your car can get dinged by doors. So I lost mine and couldnt be happier!

I just peeled back in the middle of the day so they were warm. Peeled them off, then w/ my thumb ran back over the addhesive and then washed the car. Not a single thing happened to the paint! And the car looks a lot cleaner and smoother now

A lot of people think the more you can mod a car the better. Just like the Clear lights, halos, ect. If all Camaros came from the factory with Clear lights then the ambers would be the hot ticket. If they came with Berger style rear panels then everyone would want them body collor ect.

I think the TA looks best without the door mouldnings however the Camaro looks better with them...IMO

I've took them off of every Camaro I've owned. Looks much better without them. Mess, they pull right off and you're left with some glue(tape, whatever it is) and you can use your hand, fingers, or the thumb and just rub it off. I'm sure there has to be an easier way. I rubbed a big as water blister on the palm of my hand when I did the ones on the SS. Adam, check out my sig.
