Default better fit on interior trim?...

just wondering if any of the camaro owners out there were able to get a better fit out of some of the interior peices, mainly the pieces that surround the air vents. i was looking at them today and the fit is really poor, and it comes off way to easy. Will just some better clips help it stay in place better and make it fit a little tighter? Anybody have any tips or tricks they did to get a better fit? Its not a HUGE deal to me but it definately bothers me when I look at it, i want my car to be perfect!!

Blame GM for this.

For years everyone made fun of the interior of the F-bodies, Vettes, and Mustangs. I guess that's what we get for buying cars where the majority of the money went into the engine and drivetrains.

They're known for rattling, squeaking, and generally just not fitting right or being made out of great materials.

I originally had a grey interior and switched it with a black one. I have also seen quite a few interiors they all have crappy fitment.

If the vent covers do not rattle then don't mess with them, you want them loose enough to fall out or tight enough that when you pull it off it tears up the fake leather. Like if you switch stereos, you don't want to pull the glue off the pleather when you pull off the cover.

Plus you can clean the dust out of your A/C vents with a retractable duster and make the car smell WAY nicer/fresher when riding in it.
