interior appearance opinion
interior appearance opinion Well I'm having an impossible time trying to find black carbon fiber or black/red carbon kevlar so I am thinking about going with aluminzed fiberglass to wrap my interior pieces (window switches, radio bazel, door handle cover thigns, top part of center console where ash tray and cupholder are). My newly re-uphosltered seats are black with red stitching and red suede inserts. Carpet and interior panels/dash are being converted to ebony, door inserts will be red leather ( haven't decided on peforated or smooth yet). I would have loved the look of the black or the black/red kevlar **** but 
. I think the silver would be a good offset of the red and black, maybe do the outer edges of the air vents too. What would you suggest? Would this look good? Or what else would you recomend? Shift boot is black with red stitching and piping!

If you have a charchol or black interior just leave it alone, it looks good as is. If you wanna do some emblems, or some billt that looks good too. Maybe some white guages and an nice shift ****. If you have the $$ do the headrests too. The whole spray painted interior is kinda trashy. BTW your car looks great.

Verdad Gallardo Also, I'm going to tell you from experience, that aluminized fiberglass is hard as **** to work with. It is very stiff and does not like to conform to curves the way 2X2 twill carbon will. Your going to have to vacuum bag it to get decent results. Same with the kevlar hybrids. They are very stiff too since they have kevlar in them.

oh and I would take that carbon fiber or aluminzed fiberglass strait to my father. He has been doing paint and body work for over 30 years and he a fiberglass specialists so I'm sure it wouldn't be to big of a hassle for him!
Do not do the red kevlar. Red will turn out lookin much darker once resin has been applied. PM and I can send you a picture of my red kevlar power window controlls. I also have some carbon fiber laying around if your interested let me know how much you want and I can give you a price.
