Talking Doing black bird stripes with custom lettering

Well I wanted to get some opinions of how I should have the lettering done. I am going to have a set of black bird stripes made but instead of it saying "ramair" I am having "408" added instead.. My question is should it say "408 c.i." or "408 C.I." or "408 c.i.d."? I cannot make my mind up so I thought I would turn to the board for help .

Thank you all for your time..

Jeff

I'd go for 408 C.I.

All you need is 408. The early TAs and birds 67 to about76 still used CID on their shakers and fender badges. Do it in the script as the early cars like this and make it say SD-408 for Super Duty.
