how long after paint?

Question how long after paint?

ok i am gettin some repairs done from an accident, and they are repainting my bumpers and 1 quater panel. how long do i have to wait after i get it back till i can wash/wax it again. im plannin on zainoing it with a fresh start

You can wash with gentle soap pretty much right away but do NOT wax for at least 30 days or whatever your painter recommends. Reason is even though the paint appears to be cured and hard to the touch, it is still releasing solvents that can get trapped by the wax. This can cause adhesion problems down the road. Just keep it washed well and be patient on the waxing part.
