gettin rid of hazey paint?

gettin rid of hazey paint? ok this isnt for my f-body but you guys know ur shiznit so help me out here. i have a 93 olds and the spoiler in theback has a horribe looking white haze, its not peeling just white haze. i wetsanded it with 1500 last night then compounded it with 3M fine cut. then threw some eagle one wax on it. its smooth as glass and looks good 95% of the white haze is gone but from certain anglesu can still see the scrathes from the sand paper i guess. i compounded the **** out of it by hand and did it twice before wax. so what else should i do. if i can get it good im plannon doin the whole car to bring back the glossyness to it.

It's *very* difficult to remove sanding marks of that grit by hand (even by machine sometimes). You might need to go back over the area with a finer grit like 2500, and then compound, polish, etc.

ok i googled it and read some more, i think i gonna get a sanding block and some 2000 and 2500 and try it again. and if it comes out good im doin the whole car the hoopty(aka pimpchieva) will shine again
i actually went out and looked at it again in the sunshine, i did the job when it was gettin dark last night lol. and it seems theres still some haze to it, that damn haze is tuff on this car. although over the haze u can see its very glossy lookin so i guess im gettin there
