windshield scratches, help so I just got my 99 Z28 about a month ago. when I got it I used the wiper blades, and they started to scratch the windshield, so I replaced the blades, and even he new ones are scratching it. wtf.... the windshield is clean, and the blades are clean and un dry rotted??? why is it still scratching. I'm almost to the point of smashing the windshield and getting a free one from insurance. but how can I get rid of scratches? is there any polish or anything? has any one ever had this happen?

Go to Wal-Mart and get Bar Keepers Friend. It looks like scouring powder but it's great for bugs on your windshield. It may take the scratches out if they are light. Just wet your windshield and put some on a wet cloth. Do the whole window but not in direct sunlight. Don't let it dry and hose off right away. Don't use it on any other part of the car.
