Default Removing spray paint?

Any suggestions on removing fairly fresh (less than 24 hours) spray paint from my 99 white Camaro? =\ I'd prefer not to damage the clear coat.

Are you talking about a coat of spray paint, or overspray? You could probably get it off with a claybar if its just overspray.

Actually WD-40 should take it off if its been within 24hrs and if its a good amount of paint. If not then definatly use a claybar.

Yeah, vandalism unfortunately. Wasn't too much, and I didn't have any paint thinner but I did have mineral spirits, which did the trick with some elbow grease.

So for future reference for anybody else, mineral spirits and a towel will remove spray paint without damaging your paint/clearcoat. At least, I can't see any damage.

that works great
you could always use a polish compound and not turn your claybar into crap
