I'm curious as to this too. I have the 98-02 front bumper and from my understanding, its actually easier and recommended to take the entire bumper off. Am I correct in this understanding or misguided?

Pull your headlights and then there are 3 7/8mm nuts that you remove to get the stocker turn sigs out. Its take some maneuvering to get them out, but I have done several sets for friends this way and never scuffed anyones front bumper cover.

On the LT1 bumper cover, IIRC its much easier to do from underneath, takes about 10 mins per turnsignal

i did mine from underneath and it wasnt to bad, just dont get pissed and force them in, you will either crack the paint on the bumper of the plastic lense

98-02-Through the top (10-15 mins)-Dont remove the bumper cover, just the top push in clips above the radiator.

93-97-Up through the bottom (10 mins)

exactly what these guys are saying. I've put many sets in and it's always gone in with a breeze. unbolt headlights (1 10mm) slide headlights toward the outside of the car and pull out. Unbolt the 3 7mm bolts on the clear corners and put new ones in place and rebolt everything.
