I believe you can choose which face you want, either black or white. You can also choose what color leds you want.

400 bucks is alittle steep for a gauge.

check jegs

i got my wideband for 260

its worth it if you plan on doing anything like nitrous or boost....

here is a pic of mine

o yea, you can change the face out to either black or white and the ring comes off the gauge so you could techincally paint it any color fairly easy.

yeah i was planning on painting the rings Glossy Black to match the radio bezel and other trim pieces. Well since the A/F gauge isnt a good idea unless i go with the wideband one, what other gauge would you recommend?? Tranny Temp, Oil Temp, and possibly Fuel Pressure???? i dont want any gauges that i have to buy a bunch of stuff to make them work.

yea, oil temp is not really needed, fuel pressure is around 170$ and is a really boring gauge to watch.....

for the a4 guys tranny temp would be something to invest in.

alot of people here will tell you this meter is useless and is just a light show

what this meter is good for is WOT metering, it will also tell you if the PCM is dumping fuel motor going into protect mode (like when something electrical is shorting)

if you ever plan a radical cam and extensively modded car (boosted) I still use this guage (for ball park #s) enstead of a expensive wideband wide band
put that money toward HP tuners for more accurate readings.

Hope this helps

also expect the red guages to light up at half the color density as you're dash I'm thinking of using 2 condoms to make the red darker.

I have sold stuff here in past.

That's a little more clear on something I was trying to say back on page one when I posted the pic. The real glow is lighter in both the sense of intensity and depth of red. A little on the orage side, but finding a red bulb to use in there could fix it as the autometer condom is quite thin.

Simple. Just pull out the bulb from the back and replace it with #194 bulbs from autozone.

Dude are you saying this #194 is a red bulb that lights up exactly like the rest of dash?
