There are other more important things in life.
Our f-bodies are just metal and plastic. They are put together for our enjoyment. Yeah we spend time and money on them but in the end it is just material stuff. What are we gonna do, take them with us in the afterlife???
The really bad thing about losing your ride is the fact that that car will never be on the road again. We can honor the past rides by taking ours out of the garages and letting them light up the roads and highways!!!

Sweet car, sad sad day. I am glad that hes OK. Hope he recovers soon and jumps back on the wagon. Ive known several people that have had a loss like that and just given up and now drive 20 year old beaters cause they couldnt stand it if it happened again.

Thats sux's man give my regards to your friend. The damage probably wouldn't of been half as bad if that stupid truck wasn't lifted. I don't see why they have to do that. Essentially that truck was acting as a big cleaver to the poor formula. He was basically hitting nothing but solid steel on the bottom of the truck which is why the car got so torn up. Is that the WW kit on the formula, the one i've always seen the front was not covered like that. Just part out what you can. Buy it back from the insurance company and then part out seats, motor, trans, rear, interior components and you can easily get about 5 grand worth out of it. Then use that to go buy another formy. Those WS-6 formy's are rare though. I would seriously start having neck and back pains right about now and take that POS truck driver for every bit of the damage he did to the car. HEHE, the car may be out of action permenantly but you can get revenge for her by taking this guy to court. Remember to moan and groan about pain when in public. HEHE just kidding I do not endorse Insurance FRUAD!!!

Having recently had a similar experience i feel his pain. It hurts seeing your pride and joy towed off on a trailer. If hes like me he will be back at it within a month.. goodlike finding another ws6 formula those ar ehard to come by.

Just an update, sorta. We went to the towing co. and checked the car out yesterday. We took more pics, but they're pretty much the same as whats here. Just high resulution.
I have quite a few request for parts. There's tons wanting the ww kit. For the price of the buyback I doubt you'd break even for the parts that are good. Of course depending on the buyback amount.
The car was signed over to the insurance company. They gave the totaled pay off he's going to get yesterday and the car is getting moved to an auction yard. He's not buying it back as of now and has decided to move on. Those of you that have lost a favorite ride sorta know the feeling.
I dont even know what the buyback would be. I'm not going to buy it back as well. If it bothers my buddy enough to where he doesnt want any part of it. I'm not going to make it worse buy buying his baby back to strip and sell in front of him. I really have no need for any of the parts and would be stripping it for other people. I wouldnt want a good friend to do that to me, so , like I said I'm letting the car go as well.
