Clear blinker lenses

Clear blinker lenses I bought the clear front blinker lenses and tried to take the old ones out (on an 00' Camaro). After unbolting everything i figured that with a little manuvering they wouldnt be that hard to get out, WRONG. No matter what way i twist these ****** things or how much muscle i use they just will not come out. The ****** body panels were flexing i was trying so hard. From the inside i first thought that taking off the entire headlight would make things easier. On second inspection it seems the clearence between the headlight and blinker is not the issue. There is really stiff foam padding on the inner (nose) side and a welded mounting bracket on the inside of the quarterpanel that the blinker seems to be wedged between. PLEASE DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO GET THESE GOD DAMN LENSES OUT?????? 
I got my best kitchen knife and cut the foam that was being a pain the ***. Your are doing it the best way with the headlight out...takes some wiggling...cuts..cussing but it will come out. Make sure you have all the screws out..theres a hidden one if i remember.

I really was hoping to refrain from cutting on anything but if it is necessary then **** it, i already broke the stock blinker so what the hell huh. Thanks man!
Still, if anyone knows of a better way then please let me know soon cause im whippin out knives to sharpen as i type!! ****** BLINKERS

if you take the headlights out you can acess them better... i did mine from underneath and it was tight..... then when i put in my halo's i realized how much easier it would have been from uptop
Did you get them out yet?.. so you have the headlights out correct? Made sure ALL the screws are removed from the turn signal housing? Cutting the foam where you need to won't hurt anything and no one will notice. Just a good clean cut don't butcher it.

Not sure if this will help, but it does when you take out your headlights....theres about 6 tabs that hold the front clip/nose remove those and you can actually "pull" the front clip away from the front end as needed.
