Cleaning outside window trim?

Cleaning outside window trim? My black trim/molding around all of the glass (windshield, T-tops, etc...) is getting really ugly. It's not really faded much, but it has this gooey, gluey, moldy looking crap all over it.
What cleans this stuff off really good, and what can I use to "freshen" up the blackness of it? I've thought about Goo-gone and then some ArmourAll, but thought I'd ask the Pros first.

I'm not sure about the gooey stuff that you are seeing on the trim, but to freshen up the color I used Back to Black and it worked great. Pics would help describe the gooey stuff you're seeing too.
on my 96 firebird i noticed gooey black stuff around the trim in the hatchback, . . i think the adhesive holding the trim was being melted from years and years of being in the sun, . . i used some rubbing alcohol and a razor blade and it worked great, . .then i used a toothpick to tuck it back in . . .

I've looked at the Back to black stuff before. I'll pick some up and try it, but first I gotta get it all clean.

Here are some pics. This stuff doesn't seem to want to come of !!!!!!
I used some Back to Black in this pic. It helped a little, but those nasty spots are still there. Doesn't it look a little "gappy" there, where the windshield, T-top and driver side window come together????

yea, on your rear hatch: that is exactly what i had, . . nothing will work as good as alcohol or maybe goo gone, . . . its too oily and greasy to be removed with that autocare stuff, . . do the razor blade thing and a lil elbow grease, . . im starting to sound like that bearded guy from oxy-clean, . . .
