Between those two choices... Candy Red. I personally would go with a brighter/less maroon red...

I have a question, and I have an idea, but first the question: was the candy red valve coated with the silver before the red was put on or was the red put on directly over a bare valve?

I'll share the idea in a minute...

I would go silver/chrome. It looks like nothing on the outside of your car is Candy Red. I think color schemes should be both inside and outside the car. If you had some Candy Red accents on the exterior, then definitely do the Red. That color does look better. Good luck.

Silver will look just like a normal LT1 intake... What's the point of that???

You guys did realize he said LT1 NOT LS1 right???

i went with the chrome/silver, the red would have totally clashed.

Looks like a stock intake that was power washed... doesn't really stand out as painted to me

no way! dang it... It's cool, that intake is coming back off in a little while. I got a bm roots blower going on there. I just gotta get the machine work done. For all that work, i couldn't accept it for free..

Well damn, can't fault a guy for doing that. I wasn't even aware B&M made a roots blower for these engines. That oughtta be pretty sweet.
