Getting those wheels to shine

I used some Polishing Compound last night and it worked great on getting marks off of my car. I was wondering if it would be okay to use on my chrome wheels? I have a few marks and water spots that don't come out. Would Polishing Compound be ok to use on the wheels? Thanks

I believe that depending on what compound it is, it may be abrasive with is a HUGE no-no on chrome. Just use some actual chrome polish and see if that works.

Yeah, play it safe. Clear coat does not = chrome.

Hollywood Metal Polish

good stuff, i use to get it at disc.tire co. Works really well on chrome or aluminum.

DO NOT USE..no polishing compound..i would just use chrome polish..ive scratched my chrome wheels with neverdull before.

werd DONT use a polishing compound or you can be like my dads rims when he used a polishing compound on them and they look like polished rims now but way worse
