Default LS1 steering wheel in LT1?

I'm sure this information is on the forum somewhere, but after countless searches I still can't seen to find any info. I have a 95z with a gross steering wheel that I want to replace. It seems to me that i'd have alot better luck finding a LS1 style in better shape, not to mention they just look nicer. What do I have to do to make it fit?? is it even possible?? any pics out there??

Thanks in advance!

If you are talking about the newer style like on the 02's then my guess is it should bolt up, however I don't know if the airbag will hook up right, I doubt it.
I have an 01 steering wheel in my 97, but I have the 97 airbag on it.

firebird steering wheels did not change as drastically as the Camaros did in 2000. Our old bags will not fit on a newer style wheel.

The wheel will bolt up just fine, all the steering columns are the same 93-02, but the airbag...not sure of. Before you undo anything, remember to disconnect the battery! Don't want it to blow up in your face!

Just put a Trans-Am steering wheel of your same year in your car and swap out the air bag cover for the 2002 Camaro airbag cover... should be less airbag compatability problems.
