As far as quality goes, they are real leather so that is a big plus. It was originally grey cloth so I can't really compare to stock quality. I didn't really find any problems with them and the fit was real good, tight but good. The headrests were a real PITA to get on just because of the tight fit and the fact that unlike the seats, the stock covers don't come off.
I think I paid about $800 for the set (the blue vinyl for the door panels came with them) but the price will vary depending on single/two tone, suede inserts, perforation etc etc, there's all kinds of options. I got them from leatherseats.com and was real happy with the service. I installed them the weekend before the fbody gathering 8 and they had accidentally sent the wrong style headrest covers. I called them on monday and told them and I got the right ones in the mail on weds
All in all I love them.

Just because there is a 5,800 "redline" I have LT1 gauges in my car?
MacEwen produces these gauges in two different styles, 1997-1998 and 1999-2002 because of a few minor differences. Obviously there are no differences between the stock 1997-1998 gauges except for where the redline begins; 5,800 RPM Vs 6,000 RPM. The 1997 Camaros are the only LT1 Camaros to have the same gauges as the LS1's (take a look at the 1994-1996 Camaro LT1 gauges, no where close!) MacEwen probably produces the 1997-1998 in the same style because it's cost effective. In 1999-2002 there are numerous differences, I.G. High Beams, SES, Eng. temp gauge. etc. So, they probably decided to move where the RPM redline begins to 6,000 RPM to make it completely accurate. In any case, if you take a closer look at my gauges then you will realize that when the gauges are lit up the "redline" actually begins at 6,000 RPMS.

Here's my work in progress:

I loved my Cobalt gauges so much...

I modeled my the rest of my interior after them (Blue LED's and Chrome touches here and there):

Here's my in-dash DVD:

I am going to install WHITE LED lights (map, dome, HVAC, shifter), Ebony carpet, ebony trim (not all the panels, just the panels people normally paint), Arizen leather seats (w/ 4 point gloss black roll-cage and black 4-pt harnesses) and black leather inserts on the door panel.

MAYBE, the chrome-like Humount with or without 5LITEREATER in blue led... I haven't decided if that would be too much shiny metal yet...
