Default haze

on my camaro that i recently got painted i got it bvack from the guy after he buffed and waxed it and now it has a white residue on the surface that does not want to come off what is this and how do i fix it?

Sounds like it is buffing compound, I would bring thecar back to the body shop and have them take care of it.

yeah but i really dont want to bring it back to this guy id rather do it my self i already have the porter cable da buffer just need to know the steps to remove it.

if it is buffing compound (wax) then any type of wax remover should take care of it, but on my old car it had the same sort of thing your describing where it was repainted and I couldnt get it off no matter what I tried, figured had something to do with the paint

sounds like you have orange peel from not being wetsanded properly or wetsanded enough. Id take it back
