Front bumper mod i cant remember where i saw it at or which website ..but somebody has got LEDs BEHIND their front liscene plate cover on their firebird ..something about removing the plate cover and or buying a clear one then taping off the bird patters painting it and putting LEDs in behind the liscen plate cover..i want to do this mod BAD.. but i CANT FIND IT ANYMORE

That is an excellent write up, but I took a short cut.
I taped off the bird on the inside, and I spray painted the inside of the cover, rather than the outside. No primer, no sanding, no clearcoat. But it takes a lot of coats to keep light from shining thru the paint. If I had to do it all over, I would have finished it with a couple coats of primer on the inside, just to thicken it up and to hide the light.
