Should I use this buffer?

I got it basically for free from a friend, but is it junk or what? It is a hell of a lot better price than the Porter Cable!

I'm just concerned about the quality of it; is it any good? Where can I buy pads locally and what pads do I need to polish and wax?

I have th same one and it works great, just be careful so you dont sit in one spot and burn the paint.

You can buy the different pads at sears.

get foam cutting pads for it and you might see some swirl reduction.

I have one. It really shines at waxing (if you'll pardon the pun). Makes it quick and easy.

But it really isn't the equal of the PC. No way. I have one of those, too.

make sure you use foam pads no wool pads as shown in picture..use 3m rubbing compound Part # 05973 for your first step this is for scratches and **** in the paint dont use this step if your paint looks nice already...2nd step is foam pad polishing glaze part #05996 also by 3m... or as I said if paint looks nice do this step and then wax car after....
