Default Interior Cleaning project

Well, I got bored sitting around the house this morning, so I thought I would clean the interior of the car. After 4 hours, I'm .52 richer from coins I found under the seats, and I have a clean carpet again. I did find some rust on the bottom of the rear seats and couldn't get the stain out, but oh well, no one can see it right.....Here are some pictures I took while I was working.

and the finished product

My floor mats are hideous, so I'll be getting some new embroidered mats soon.

That's what happens when you have a 1 year old baby and a wife that's on her period......A sudden desire to spend quality time out of the house

Looks good! That tan carpet is soooo hard to keep looking nice.
You might want get underneath the car and check the rubber drain plugs that go under the rear seats. I'd be willing to bet they're torn or missing---not sure how else you'd get rust stains in those spots.....you may have some rusty floorpan issues.

Actually it is from someone spilling a drink in the back seat. There is a steel rod that runs along the bottom of the seat inserts for the back. The drink got the steel rod wet and it in started rusting. I checked the floor out and not a spec of rust. I've always kept my car very clean, I was suprised to find the rust to begin with. That's what happens when you have drunk Biotches riding in your car. If she wasn't hot, I would have been PISSED.
