AHHH! My eyes!

Or at least that is what I would say if you passed me on the road at night.

What is the temperature on those? 6000K or 4200K? They look really white.

Do you have the HID in both the low and high beams?

Being that he didn't change his headlamps the light pattern would be the same as they were before. And the 8000K probably won't be brighter than the standard bulbs that were in there before. It will just be a whitish blue instead of a yellow.

WRONG..No.. these lights are so much brighter then the other factory lights..i would say that it puts out maybe 50x's better light over stock!!

No, I am right. Your original stock bulb put out about 1800 to 1900 lumens. Your new 8000K HID setup puts out just under 2000 lumens. This is a marginal increase for the hundreds of dollars you just paid to "upgrade". Now, I did this same upgrade as you did, though i didn't see a reasonable difference until I installed projectors in my car and even now I wish I hadn't gone with the 8000K and had instead gotten the OEM color temperature. An HID setup above 4200K becomes less efficient the higher in temperature you go. This is the reason why OEM HID manufacturers only go up to around 4500K on most applications.

So at best your lights are about 1.1 times better, at most, than your stock ones. Not the "50x's better" that you claim. If it were 50x's better, you would have the the equivalent of a nuclear reaction inside of your headlamps. The "brighter" effect that you are seeing is called glare, and it is also blinding other drivers on the road. If you want to see a true difference in your light pattern and brightness, then retrofit some projectors into your lens assembly. This would allow your light to be used in a more efficient manner

i agree with you on one thing..I like the projector idea..but for the other stuff, i feel like they are better and I see a diff.. So dont come on here telling me i dont. i dont remember asking you to analyze why my light isnt any better..I was simply showing this cool picture??
