I bought an SS fiberglass hood for my 95. Anyone else on this forum ever purchased an SS hood off ebay? I just wanna know the how it will fit and will it leave any gaps when done professionally?

For an LT1 check out www.camaroz28.com
You'll probably get more advice for everything over there.

As for my opinion, ebay auction hood equals ebay auction quality. What brand is it? Most of the more popular brands (VFN, Suncoast Creations) have a good fit. A professional might be able to adjust it to get it to fit as tight as possible, but if there's a shape difference you're out of luck.

It's a fiberglass company that makes it. I read his feedback and so far people that have bought f body hoods off of him have no complaints. I asked him about fitting and he said that i should not worry and it should fit exactly. he sounded very confident and also mentioned that his items were never returned and all of them fitted perfectly.

I'm holding out for a real one. I'm sure some of the aftermarket ones are OK but I want to bolt in on and go. I don't want to worry that it will take 10 hours of prep at the paint shop thus negating any possible savings from buying aftermarket. Just my opinion though.
