I agree, it cant look like a Z28 and have SS emblems. It just wouldnt look right at all.

it will have the ss spoiler and vfn cowl hood...i dont want it to "look" like something its not, i want to be original, but i love those emblems and i think it would look incomplete without badging of some sort...

A buddy of mine had the old Z28 style badges on his Camaro. It looked really good.

JMO though

There are SO MANY Z28 badge options that it would be absolutely ridiculous (for many reasons) to stick SS badges on your Z28...

1969 Style Z28 Emblem

1974 Style Z28 Emblem

Chrome Z28 Emblem

Z06 Style Z28 Emblem

Carbon Fiber Z28 Emblems

and those are just off the top of my head...

why do these guys keep doin this. u guys should be proud of the z28.

like a wise *** once told me "any car can be an SS, but only a camaro can be a z28"

badge ur car the way it is....

Look on ebay! They are all over.. And if you dont like the Z28 emblems that are out, dont badge it at all... Do not badge a Z as a SS.. Its saying you are something you are not even if you have all the SS options.. You are not a SS, so dont say that it is..

Heres some from muffinbuster off ebay..

You could always make your own (design it have it made out of vinyl or put one together out of other emblems)...

Another option is to go a completely different route. I put a LS1 badge on the side of my car, and i think it looks good. Personal opinion though...

If you want to do something original, then come up with something yourself. Putting SS badges on any car is not original. I have to agree with the crowd - keep it a Z28 or completely debadge the car. Putting SS badges on a Z is really posing - you can call it what you want, but that's what it is.

Debadge the car and freak-out some unsuspecting ricers that try to play with ya'. I did that for a long time back in the day. My plate said "FAST V6" to back it up too, lol.

Don't know where to get the SS emblems you are looking for other than the dealer, ebay or gmpartsdirect.com

You could always re-badge the car in other ways though (like the Dick Harrel cars have Dick Harrel emblems in place of the SS/Z28 badges)...

Still trying to be helpful here though, other options BESIDES SS badges (since you don't even have and SS hood, you might as well put Mustang GT badges or Z06 badges on the car) and BESIDES Z28 badges (since you don't seem to like them):

V-Flags (came on some 1st gen Camaros):

or put 346 on the side of the car but with this style emblem:

Year One makes it so that you can have the above syle emblems BUT it would be 346 (the LS1's actual size) AND you can get it in white with chrome trim OR black with chrome trim...

No one is saying you're breaking the law and should burn in hell for what you are doing, just saying you will be perceived by most as a retard for doing it

We're just saying if you are going to change the badges be a little creative and come up with something cool (still YOUR choice so it's still your mod) not making your car look like it was modded by some 16 year old kid because you're advertising it as something it's not...
