Car covers...
Car covers... How many of you use car covers on a regular basis. Is there anything to stay away from or is a cover a cover. The reason I ask is because I brought a different car down to college and my Camaro is sitting at home, uncovered. Im getting ready tog et a cover but I wanna make sure there isnt any kinda of cover I should stay away from. There are ones on ebay for like $30 bucks shipped. Are those any good?

I have the slp one that came with the car. I also have a carport. Even though my hawk hasn't been in the rain or snow yet the biggest concern for me is the sun, the salt from the winter. Long as I have the carport, I don't worry about using the cover. What liitle bit of rain that gets on my rims, I clean off. Come winter time I will put the cover back over the car but I will make sure ALL sand or dirt is off the cover and the cover is clean, along with the car. The wind does blow the cover some what, so I do use weights to hold down the cover with the tie down holes on the cover. There are all kinds of covers and I would only want a cover for the sun. I don't know about trapping in the moisture from your case, over a long period of time. And 30 bucks is cheap. Good luck.

Yeah Id say if your car is sitting outside in the elements youre going to want to spend some good coin on a quality cover. Not sure what to recommend, My car sits in the garage so I just have a cheapo $30 cover on it because its not outside and I rarely drive it.
I can't get my car in the garage.... So it sits outside all the time. I use a Wolf brand Noah cover. It breaths and lets the car dry. Fine dust will eventually filter through it. But is no big deal. I have been very happy with it. You get what you pay for and a $30 cover will screw up your paint if used all the time. Mine is covered for up to a week and a half at a time.
Don't know if any sponsors sell them or not.... But you can google car cover and it will bring up cover company's even some real good covers on E-Bay at times.
