That's because the panels aren't straight....they're wavy.
GM does it because orange peel hides a lot of sins (imperfections)!
Unfortunately we can't color sand and buff the orange peel out because cheap skate GM made the clear coat Razor Thin!

my car was keyed also at a malll...godaamn NOLAs... how much was it to get repainted?
I can see the waves in mine also when i wax it and the sun is just right....u can see alllll of GMs improfections
