Fixed Them!
Fixed Them! Well I ve had my car over a year now, and since Ive had it, the headlight were always up. Previous owner never fixed them. Well today I got the an urge to mess with them. The driver side, I thought the motor was bad. I ended up unplugging it, and somehow noticed the pins in the plug had slipped out the back of the plug. I push them back through and that fixed that light!
The passenger was a little more difficult, the housing on the gear side of gone, So I unscrewed the nut on the spindle, did the 180 fix and put some washers between the hinge and the motor(Can't explain that to well), to keep the gears engaged, and that fixed that light!
For those of you that have worked on these, you can appreciate how tedious the work is.
Ive never seen my car with both lights down
so Im kind of pleased with myself.
Just thought Id share, and give hope to those with broken headlights.
