If I had it, here's what I would do:
-Get an iron truck block, get it sonic checked and bored .060" over
-Reuse the stock crank (if possible), get forged rods and pistons
-Get Dart 205 heads, LS6 intake, and a cam in the neighborhood of 236/244
-Throw a 4000 stall in there, LT's/ORY/catback of choice
-Tune it
There you go...mid 400's at the wheels for cheap with an iron 376-sih (not sure of the exact displacement).

**** if I was 16, I'd build up a good ebay feedback buying stickers and crap, then up that fugger up as a parts car. I can't say for sure but a few grand of pure profit when I was 16 would have made me want to slam my head against the wall in joy.

A nice shitty daily driver and tons of poontang, yup, that's what I'd spend the profit on. You can buy plenty of cars later, hehe.

How the hell you blow an auto, anyways?

I have been looking for a deal like that for ever. Looks pretty clean. Good luck with the rebuild.

You are one very lucky kid. I wish I would have found a deal like that instead of getting my car. I'm 17 fixing to be 18 and I know that more horsepower is better. I wouldn't mind having 4 or 500. Just make sure you build it to what you want when you have it out of the car so you don't regret it later.
